Transparency & Responsible AI Statement

Last Updated: 1 June 2026

Our Approach

Glims develops AI-powered software for audit, assurance, financial reporting, and compliance professionals.

Our goal is not to replace professional judgment but to augment it by helping professionals work faster, more consistently, and with greater transparency.

Auditor-in-the-Loop

Glims follows an Auditor-in-the-Loop approach.

Users remain responsible for:

  • Professional judgment
  • Risk assessments
  • Audit conclusions
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Final decisions

AI-generated outputs should always be reviewed by qualified professionals.

Transparency and Traceability

We believe AI should be explainable.

Where possible, Glims solutions are designed to:

  • Reference source documents
  • Maintain evidence traceability
  • Preserve audit trails
  • Provide transparency into generated outputs
  • Support review and challenge processes

Customer Data Ownership

Customer data remains the property of the customer.

Glims does not claim ownership of:

  • Audit files
  • Financial data
  • Supporting documentation
  • Working papers
  • Evidence collected through Glims solutions

AI Model Training

Glims does not use customer data to train public AI models.

Customer information is not contributed to publicly available foundation models for training purposes.

Any AI processing is performed solely to provide requested functionality to authorised users.

Security and Privacy

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect customer information.

These measures include:

  • Encrypted communications
  • Access controls
  • Authentication mechanisms
  • Security monitoring
  • Controlled processing environments

Additional details are available in our security documentation and customer agreements.

Human Oversight

AI outputs may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or incorrect interpretations.

Users should:

  • Independently review outputs
  • Verify important conclusions
  • Apply professional skepticism
  • Exercise appropriate professional judgment

Glims is designed to support professionals, not replace them.

Continuous Improvement

We continually evaluate and improve our AI capabilities to promote:

  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Security
  • Fairness
  • Transparency
  • Regulatory alignment

As AI regulation evolves, Glims will continue adapting its practices to support responsible and trustworthy AI use.
